All Dreadnoughts

Capital ships created for extended sieges of stationary installations.

Bane
“And finally the Lord’s Avengers slew the false leaders of the misguided Striking them with spears of holy light and casting them down For the Lord is the bane of all deceivers and false powers“ – The Scriptures, Book II, Apocalypse 10:47 Developed in utmost secret as a collaboration between the Imperial Navy and Royal Khanid Navy, the Bane-class Lancer Dreadnought uses all the expertise of Khanid shipwrights and weapons engineers to marry the formidable Revelation hull with highly advanced missile and directed energy weapons. Like all Lancer Dreadnoughts, the Bane is capable of using the new “Disruptive Lance” variant of lance weaponry. Heavily armored, its secondary weapons are the missile weapons favored by Khanid designers, a decision that helps alleviate the massive energy requirements of the lance weapon. Developer: Khanid Innovation Constantly striving to combine the best of two worlds, Khanid Innovation have utilized their Caldari connections to such an extent that the Kingdom's ships now possess the most advanced missile systems outside Caldari space, as well as fairly robust electronics systems.
Caiman
The Guristas Pirates are never ones to be left behind and the radical ship-design genius of Korako 'The Rabbit' Kosakami was quickly applied to capital ship development as other pirate and outlaw groups rolled out their fleets. The Caiman is a dreadnought that continues the Guristas emphasis on light strike capability among all their ships. Strong shields, together with powerful cruise missile and torpedo systems, round out a dreadnought that reflects the Rabbit's practice of taking Caldari hulls and twisting them to the preference of the Guristas.
Chemosh
The Blood Raider Covenant has found itself needing to match the capabilities of the Amarr Navy and capsuleer alliances in the face of repeated clashes with both foes. Omir Sarikusa has commanded his fanatical followers to adapt to increased prevalence of capital ships in naval warfare by developing their own, marked by the usual perversion of Amarr ship designs to the battle doctrines of the Blood Raider fleets. The Chemosh class dreadnought is such a ship, sporting the Blood Raiders' signature Energy Nosferatu technology.
Hubris
”You, my friends, are the beating heart of this great Federation’s industrial and military might. Without you, there would be no ships for our navy of liberation and security to wield as the instruments of Gallente freedom and ultimate peace under democratic rule. My friends, I congratulate you on your hard work to date and look forward to that which is to come!“ – Former President Jacus Roden in speech to Roden Shipyards workers, May YC125 While the reach of the Federation Navy is popularly supposed to be based heavily on the use of drones and automation, the true power of the Federation’s military has long rested on one of the most powerful capital ship fleets in existence. Drones and automation are leveraged on this mighty foundation, enabling it to function and project power rapidly and precisely. To this end, the heavy-industrial powerhouse of Roden Shipyards put forward designs for an advanced dreadnought using new lance technology. Alongside an armament of hybrid turrets, the Hubris-class Lancer Dreadnought is equipped to use the new “Disruptive Lance” weaponry, a capability rumored to have been developed with the assistance of Jacus Roden’s peerless industrial espionage organization. Developer: Roden Shipyards Unlike most Gallente ship manufacturers, Roden Shipyards tend to favor missiles over drones and their ships generally possess stronger armor. Their electronics capacity, however, tends to be weaker than ships from their competitors.
Karura
”The Ocean Winds drive us to extend the reach of the Caldari State by all means available, by any means necessary. To serve the Caldari people and State is the first duty of our corporate community, and we shall see it done by the Winds and Way of the Caldari!” – Mens Reppola, CEO Ishukone Corporation, speech to Combine TNR executives, January YC125 Despite the setback of a Guristas spy ring stealing Caldari capital ship development secrets in YC124, a program for an advanced dreadnought proceeded under a secret contract awarded to the Tiuunakama Nenkanavu Rymasaikkan, the “Ocean Winds Corporate Community” linking the Hyasyoda, Ishukone, and Wiyrkomi megacorporations. Hyasyoda and Wiyrkomi pooled their expertise in energy and weapons systems to complete the “Disruptive Lance” project on schedule. Pivoting from its involvement in the long-stalled “Project Dictator”, Ishukone applied itself to developing the Karura-class Lancer Dreadnought. Able to deploy the new lance weaponry, the Karura uses hybrid weapons as its secondary armament. Developer : Ishukone Ishukone, always striving to be ahead of the competition, have proved themselves to be one of the most adept starship designers in the State. A surprising majority of the Caldari Fleets ships of the line were created by their designers. Respected and feared by their peers Ishukone remain amongst the very top of the Caldari corporate machine.
Moros
Of all the dreadnoughts currently in existence, the imposing Moros possesses a tremendous capacity to fend off gargantuan hostiles while still posing a valid threat to any and all larger-scale threats on the battlefield. By virtue of its protean array of point defense capabilities, and its terrifying ability to unleash rapid and thoroughly devastating amounts of destruction on the battlefield, the Moros is single-handedly capable of turning the tide in a fleet battle.
Moros Navy Issue
The shift of Gallente naval doctrine from over-reliance on drones to an acceptance of the reality that heavy guns mounted on well-protected platforms are a key element in winning fleet actions in space is dramatically illustrated by the changing role of the venerable Moros-class dreadnought. Once a vessel that was essentially a super-heavy drone carrier, the Moros-class has fallen into line with other dreadnoughts as a formidable capital gun platform. The Moros Navy Issue variant has been upgraded with heavy armor and repair systems meaning it can sustain tremendous punishment while its upgraded weapons systems deal out destruction on those targets pinned by its enhanced warp disruptors. "The Second Siege of Cylle was lifted when the invaders' assault faltered in the traps and was repulsed by our own siege engines." – War Commentaries of dos Rouvenor
Naglfar
The Naglfar is based on a Matari design believed to date back to the earliest annals of antiquity. While the exact evolution of memes informing its figure is unclear, the same distinctive vertical monolith form has shown up time and time again in the wind-scattered remnants of Matari legend. Boasting an impressive versatility in firepower options, the Naglfar is capable of holding its own against opponents of all sizes and shapes. While its defenses don't go to extremes as herculean as those of its counterparts, the uniformity of resilience - coupled with the sheer amount of devastation it can dish out - make this beast an invaluable addition to any fleet.
Naglfar Fleet Issue
Versatility in fleet ship designs has long been a watchword of Minmatar naval doctrine, and the Naglfar Fleet Issue continues that tradition by building on the strengths of the already highly-adaptable base Naglfar-class. Across the board upgrades to defenses, improved repair systems, and enhanced projectile weapon systems significantly improve the performance and capabilities of the Republic Fleet's new variant of a revered capital ship design. Improvements to utility and energy systems round out a package that transforms an already formidable fleet and siege action platform into a vessel that any foe would rather avoid. "Jarvika the Fang was a raider by nature but did not stint when arming a full war host against his mightiest foes." – Warlords of the Tronhadar (Caravanserai Press, 2nd Ed. YC119)
Phoenix
In terms of Caldari design philosophy, the Phoenix is a chip off the old block. With a heavily tweaked missile interface, targeting arrays of surpassing quality and the most advanced shield systems to be found anywhere, it is considered the strongest long-range installation attacker out there. While its shield boosting actuators allow the Phoenix, when properly equipped, to withstand tremendous punishment over a short duration, its defenses are not likely to hold up against sustained attack over longer periods. With a strong supplementary force, however, few things in existence rival this vessel's pure annihilative force.
Phoenix Navy Issue
Caldari doctrine focuses on distributed fleets with well-equipped and independently operating squadrons of agile strikeforces, nevertheless the State has always maintained a powerful capital fleet capability. Military reforms in the wake of losses suffered by the State during the Triglavian Invasions included significant programs aimed at improving the core dreadnought fleets of the Caldari Navy. The result is the Phoenix Navy Issue: a vessel equipped with heavier shields, significantly upgraded capital missile systems, and enhanced with target-painting technology to improve the application of its powerful weapons against any target this heavily-fanged monster cares to destroy. "Let the stars be the target of your arrows, that you may strike all your foes under them." – Analects of the Raata Empire
Revelation
The Revelation represents the pinnacle of Amarrian military technology. Maintaining their proud tradition of producing the strongest armor plating to be found anywhere, the Empire's engineers outdid themselves in creating what is arguably the most resilient dreadnought in existence. Added to that, the Revelation's ability to fire capital beams makes its position on the battlefield a unique one. When extended sieges are the order of the day, this is the ship you call in.
Revelation Navy Issue
Imperial Navy planners regard the Revelation-class dreadnoughts as a mainstay of Amarr military capability, with numerous variants having been developed from the basic class, including several marks of planetary assault dreadnoughts. For fleet actions and sieges of space installations, the Ministry of War required that an upgraded Revelation Navy Issue be equipped with even heavier armor, the most powerful capital energy weapons possible, and an effective capacitor warfare capability. The enhanced naval variant of the storied Revelation-class is a divine beast that amply epitomizes the Amarr way of war. "Let not your sword sleep easy in your hand, till the cities of God be built across heaven's band." – The Scriptures, Book of Graces 11:29
Valravn
”The meaning of Turnur’s destruction is plain and needs no explanation. We have always known that the Amarr Empire and its evil religion cares not if its ultimate end is to rule over an empire of ashes, blood, and desolation. Its only object is to rule the stars be they bright or be they dark. Never, I say. Never again the long night!” – Valklear General Kril Efrit, Skarkon Tribal Resistance Army, Broadcast to Republic, March YC125 The Great Caravans of the Thukker Tribe roam ceaselessly across the space of the Republic and beyond in their Great Wildlands territories, and the tribe’s ship architects are renowned across New Eden for their ingenuity. Due to their special requirements and experience, the Thukker have long functioned as a major developer of ships for the Republic, and the secret project to bring an advanced dreadnought to fruition was an ideal task for the shipbuilding circles of the Great Caravans. Close collaboration with their allies in the Republic Security Services, together with their own extensive contacts among the underworld cartels of New Eden, gave the Thukker engineers an up-to-date understanding of the “Disruptive Lance” technology that the Valravn-class Lancer Dreadnought uses alongside its batteries of projectile weapons. Developer : Thukker Mix Thukker spend their entire lives forever wandering the infinite in their vast caravans. As such their technology is based as much upon necessity as their ingenious ability to tinker. Their ship designs therefore tend to based upon the standard empire templates but extensively modified for the Thukker's unique needs.
Vehement
Reacting to the rise of capsuleer capital fleets, the Serpentis Corporation requested that the Angel Cartel’s naval architects design a dreadnought class capital ship. This was done using the Moros hull as the basis for a formidable mobile weapons platform. After receiving the prototype, capital ship engineers from the Cartel’s Guardian Angels division maximized the damage potential of the design. For good measure, the Guardian Angels combined this with advanced Serpentis stasis webification technology.
Zirnitra
A huge, capital-scale vessel that appears to be the Triglavian equivalent of the dreadnought classification of warships. The Zirnitra's basic design has been successfully adapted for use with capsule technology, based on lessons learned from retrofitting the numerous Triglavian ship designs recovered from Abyssal Deadspace. The Zirnitra is able to wield the truly titanic Ultratidal Entropic Disintegrator alongside an array of support modules typically favored in Triglavian designs. These include energy neutralizers, pulse weapons and a long-range remote repair capability. Zirnitra Subclade of Veles Clade reclaimed adaptation schema for 2,187 tactical troika classification vessel in response to profound now-time pressure of prayer from Detached Executive Troika for Sublimation of Poshlost Flow. Zirnitra Subclade offers revised adaptation schema for 2,187 tactical troika classification vessel into the cladeflow without proving for advancing-time dispersal to strategic troika by affirmation and imperative of the Convocation of Triglav Outside the Struggle. – partial translation of data included in recovered design schematics of the Zirnitra
