Description
Inspired by ancient stories of a 'pirate bird,' the Skua allows pilots to unleash a barrage of long range missiles that mimic that relentlessness of its namesake.
The Mountain faction rallied against the Skua in the CEP, causing controversy. In an official statement on behalf of the Home Guard, Tanis Cheung claimed to have proof that Lai Dai had hired “allegedly former” Guristas pirates, and that the Skua was born of that “anti-Caldari” collaboration.
In response, the Skua was canceled. However, a handful of prototypes had already been manufactured. The CEP thought their power and nimbleness should be given to the best pilots in New Eden, so they were awarded to the winners of Alliance Tournament XXI.
